Airbus Bids Farewell to the BelugaST Aircraft

The last Airbus BelugaST aircraft has recently completed its final flight and been retired from service. The aircraft, registered F-GSTF, served in Airbus’s logistics operations for 25 years.

The BelugaST was developed on the Airbus A300-600 platform and was primarily used to transport fuselage sections, wings, and large structural components between Airbus production sites across Europe. Thanks to its enlarged fuselage, it stood out as one of the largest cargo aircraft operating in civil aviation.

The aircraft will be sent by Airbus to Chester (CEG) Airport in the United Kingdom for storage and will be permanently withdrawn from service there. The BelugaST fleet has already been replaced by the higher-capacity BelugaXL aircraft.
